Much of Stetson's work involves water resources engineering in the context of balancing environmental protection and enhancement efforts with development demand.

Stetson has been providing creative solutions to water resource issues for nearly five decades. This history of innovative thinking led to Stetson’s pivotal role in the making and interpretation of western water law.

In addition to our contracts with private entities and local flood control, water conservation, and water agencies, Stetson serves as Prime Contractor or subcontractor under multi-year contracts with federal agencies, including the US Forest Service, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Indian Affairs, and Department of Justice.
