Water Resources Consulting Engineers
Stetson Engineers is
a multi-disciplinary engineering firm that specializes in providing
both public and private sector clients with evaluation, planning,
design, construction management, and operational assistance in
developing and utilizing water resources.
Celebrating over 40 years
of service in water resources management. Stetson Engineers (formerly
Thomas M. Stetson, Civil and Consulting Engineers) was established
by Thomas M. Stetson in Los Angeles, in April 1957. During the
early years, much of the firm's work involved consultation and
testimony on water rights in the western United States. In this
regard, Mr. Stetson was involved in the landmark water case Arizona
v. California. Mr. Stetson has served as a member of the Technical
Advisory Group of the Governor's Commission to Review California
Water Rights Law. The firm serves as District Engineer for several
California water districts.
In 1977, the company was incorporated as Stetson Engineers and has since grown to include nearly 50 professionals and support staff located in offices in San Rafael and West Covina, California and Mesa, Arizona. In addition to its practice in water rights and expert witness testimony, Stetson Engineers provides complete technical services in the fields of surface and ground-water hydrology, water resources development and management, and agricultural and municipal engineering. Consulting services are rendered to federal and state agencies, municipalities, water districts, public utilities, water companies, industry, and private individuals throughout the western United States.
